I’m part of a group that started an Immersive Entertainment company in Toronto, Canada. We have a lab where we wrestle with Immersive-related ideas and tech on a daily basis. We analyze art like scientists and dream about science like artists. We discuss the pretentious and the practical; the very important and the very mundane. We almost never agree. We talk about other stuff, too. We also really like the famous quote often attributed to Isaac Asimov: “The most exciting phrase to hear in science, the one that heralds new discoveries, is not ‘Eureka!’ but “That’s funny….” We think it applies to art, too.
